VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTIONS

REGISTRATION SETUP:

  • Wipe down table and put tablecloth on

  • Setup chairs

  • Each volunteer should have:

    • Golfer list

    • Highlighters

    • Pens

  • One cash bag for all volunteers to use

  • Put out signs:

    • Raffle/mulligan sales sign

    • Ticket identification sign

  • 1 Walkie Talkie (FOB)

RAFFLE & MULLIGAN SALES SETUP:

  • Wipe down table and put tablecloth on

  • Each volunteer should have:

    • Pack of Blue Raffle Sheets w/Raffle# list

    • Pack of Red Raffle Tickets

    • Pack of Yellow Star Tickets

    • iPad & Vital POS

    • Pens

  • One cash bag for all volunteers to use

  • Put out signs:

    • Raffle/mulligan sales sign

    • Ticket identification sign

  • Ticket holder basket for 50/50

 

RAFFLE ITEM TABLE SETUP:

  • Baskets, and other non-gift card items have a corresponding tent card sign and ticket holder bag

  • Gift cards have an acrylic sign, a tent card sign, and a ticket holder bag

 

BREAKFAST TABLE SETUP:

  • Fruit, protein bars, OJ, apple juice, coffee from Remzi.

 

COOLERS:

  • 2 coolers to each contest hole (#4, #7, #12, #16)

    • 1 cooler with non-alcohol beverages

    • 1 cooler with alcohol beverages

 

COURSE SETUP:

  • Marc B. sets up sponsor signs on the course

REGISTRATION:

  • Use YELLOW highlighter to check off golfers as they register

  • Tell golfers their starting Hole #.

  • Their names and hole# are on the carts

  • If payment is required:

  • Checks (payable to CCARC) can be accepted at the registration table.

  • Credit cards must be processed at Raffle Sales Table.

  • Raffle Sales volunteers to check off paid golfers on their Golfer List

  • Please verify that they have provided us with their email address. If they haven’t, please ask them to provide one.

  • Hand golfer pre-purchased raffle tickets and/or mulligan(s) if noted on Golfer List

 

RAFFLE & MULLIGAN SALES:

  • Raffle (teacup)

    • 25 tickets for $50

    • Blue Raffle Sheet

    • Write buyers NAME, EMAIL & PHONE# on sheet. We will need to contact any winners from the morning that may have gone home.

    • Tickets pulled after afternoon golfers go out (1pm)

    • Post winners on Board. Name and Item

    • Hand out raffle prizes to winners

 

  • 50/50 Raffle

    • 1 ticket for $25 OR 3 tickets for $25

    • CASH Only

    • Red Tickets (double)

    • Tickets pulled before 8 am shotgun and 1pm shotgun

    • Count money and pull-out start-up cash

    • Linda or Chris will announce winner

    • Get the name of the winner(s) – to send acknowledgment if they donate back

 

  • Mulligans

    • $5 per player

    • Max 2 per player

    • Yellow Star Ticket

    • Cannot be used on Hole #4, #7, #12, or #16

 

DRIVERS:

  • Drop coolers off at Holes #4, #7, #12 & #16

  • Pick up/Drop off volunteers at designated Holes as needed - see driver schedule

  • Drive out beverage refills

  • Transport volunteers for breaks

PUTTING GREEN:

  • $5 for 1 ball

  • $10 for 3 balls

  • Golfers putt from a designated area only once

  • Hole in one or closest to the hole wins half of the pot

  • In case of a tie – names are put into a drawing, and the winner splits the pot with CCARC

HOLE #4, #7, #12 & #16 – CLOSEST TO THE PIN:

  • Golfers will use their judgment to measure the first ball that lands on the green and is close – 15 to 20 feet.

  • Golfers measure if they are close to the pin.

  • Golfers write their names on the clipboard and the distance

  • Women must hit the green on their first shot to qualify

  • Call/text/walkie in beverage refills to Marcy,

  • If need to be relieved call/text/walkie Marcy

  • Walkie after last golfer for pick up

TEE #12 – DRIVE FOR CASH:

  • If golfer hits the green on their first drive they win

  • Golfers pay $5 to win $10, pay $10 to win $20, etc.

  • Hole volunteers will walkie to the Tee volunteers if the golfer one.

  • Tee volunteer hands out the money

  • Call/text/walkie in beverage refills to Marcy,

  • If need to be relieved call/text/walkie Marcy

  • Walkie after last golfer for pick up

 

HOLE #9 & #15 – CLOSEST TO THE LINE:

No volunteers needed – Marc/Timberlin manages. CCARC gives out prizes.
