CCARC Services: Residential

Residential Services supports 84 individuals with disabilities in 14 community-based residential settings.

These well-maintained, secure, family style settings offer residents the opportunity to acquire and refine life skills to empower themselves and enhance their quality of life.

Trained Residential Services Instructors work with residents to assist them in reaching their goals. Instructors provide support in all aspects of daily living and community and social interaction. These experiences enhance the development of residents not only as individuals but as members of society. Overall the vision of the service area is to “provide personalized services to people with disabilities.”

CCARC provides support based upon the needs of the individual. The service area provides support in traditional home settings as well as apartment settings according to the well defined needs of the resident. All services are in compliance with state and federal regulatory entities.

CCARC offers a broad spectrum of clinical supports to support the mission of the organization. Personalized clinical services support individuals to maintain optimal health, and assist residents to develop coping strategies. The agency supports two behaviorists and three nurses to provide seamless supports to the residents. The behavioral component of the service area collaborates with psychologists, psychiatrists and clinicians to create effective and innovative behavior plans to assist individuals to become as independent as possible. The nursing component ensures healthcare needs are monitored around the clock either on site or through an on-call process. The nursing team monitors the healthcare plans of residents, trains staff in the administration of medication and other healthcare related duties, and ensures the health and safety of the individuals in our programs.
