Women in Leadership

CCARC’s Anna Cardona was nominated by Julie Erickson for the YWCA's Women in Leadership Award. The biennial Women in Leadership Luncheon recognizes and honors exemplary women who live and/or work in Central Connecticut for their outstanding accomplishments and contributions to corporations, civic and professional organizations, and our community. Fashion Show

CCARC’s 6th Annual Toast to Fashion was held on April 8, 2011 at the St. George Greek Orthodox Hall with the delicious menu from Teresa’s Catering. Thanks to our Co-Chairs Sharon Crandall and Ann Targonski-Brown along with an active committee, they reached their goal to raise more than $20,000! See this years Program Guide (PDF).

Annual Meeting

The 59th CCARC Annual Meeting and Dinner took place on May 18, 2011. New Corporators were welcomed to the CCARC family. We now have 185 Corporators. We also celebrated our PARTNERS who through the year have supported CCARC’s Mission to make dreams happen and Vision to provide personalized services for people with disabilities. Golf Open

This year is CCARC’s 41st Annual Golf Open under the guidance of Chairman John Barbieri. It will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Timberlin Golf Course in Berlin with dinner at the Hawthorne Inn. This year’s Honorary Chairperson is New Britain Mayor Timothy Stewart.
