From The Board President

Mary Jean Agostini
Real Estate Broker and Auctioneer, CCIM, CRB, CRS

Since serving on the CCARC Board, I have come to realize that this agency is comprised of a dynamic, dedicated group of hardworking individuals who try to make a difference in the lives of people with mental retardation and other disabilities, and overall in the community. I am very proud to be a part of this vibrant organization.

I am fortunate to be board president at a wonderful time in the agency’s history. The board of directors, committee members and I have taken the helm after many devoted parents, siblings, friends, and other community advocates had worked tenaciously for years to educate and build awareness about the need for integration of individuals with mental retardation in schools, workplaces and the everyday life of our communities. We are privileged now to guide a ship that was soundly built.

CCARC continues to expand its roots in the community through its Corporators—individuals who have stepped up to the plate and demonstrated their commitment to the mission of CCARC. These friends have become involved in the life of the organization, advocating for people with disabilities and serving as our community ambassadors. We are grateful for their support. Together we assist the most vulnerable persons in our communities in realizing their potentials.

In short, CCARC is transforming itself, becoming a stronger, better and more finely-tuned agency which can be counted on to make dreams happen in the best possible ways for those its serves. Thank you for supporting this mission.
