Anne Ruwet
Chief Executive Officer

As an advocate for individuals with disabilities for more than 30 years, Chief Executive Officer, Anne Ruwet, brings a broad spectrum of experience to her position. She has led CCARC since 1994 and currently directs a staff of more than 200, manages a budget of approximately $10 million, and oversees the agency’s growth and adherence to its mission—make dreams happen.

She maintains membership in the New Britain/Berlin Rotary Club, the Connecticut Community Providers Association, Connecticut Association of Nonprofits, the New Britain and Berlin Chambers of Commerce, and the New Britain Museum of American Art.  

She also serves as a state Representative of the 65th District (Torrington) and on the following state committees: Finance, Education, and Ranking member of the Select Committee on Children.
