Meet Your Neighbor, MARGARET!

After 22 years working at Foodmart in Berlin, Margaret learned that the store was closing and rather than be saddened by the news she realized it would be a good time to retire. Margaret was one of the most dependable workers and customers knew Margaret by her warm and contagious smile. Margaret moved into a CCARC group home 3 years ago about 3 miles from her parents. Although it was a difficult transition for her parents, she still visits them often and loves to talk about her many nieces and nephews. Margaret volunteers with CCARC’s Golf Open and will remain engaged with her community with the support of her CCARC staff.

Meet Your Neighbor, BRYAN!

Bryan is a proud 18 year employee of Roger’s Marketplace in Berlin who has been named Employee of the Month several times during his tenure there. He knows the meaning of customer service and teamwork. He is an avid sports fan of the Boston Red Sox and the UCONN men’s basketball team. A Special Olympian himself, Bryan plays soccer and basketball. Bryan is very close to his family. He lives with his mother, father and brother, Michael. Bryan bowls with his dad in a league, likes to go to the casino and loves to go out to eat at restaurants with his family.
