Residential Services Instructor

The person in this position will be responsible for providing a wide range of support services for individuals with disabilities in their home and in the community. The person in the position will function according to the policies established by the CCARC Board of Directors, with the goal to maximize the potential of each individual. Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field or High school diploma/GED and one year of related experience with individuals who are developmentally disabled. Must have valid Connecticut driver’s license.

Day Services Manager

The person in this position will be responsible for the overall coordination, direction and supervision of their assigned service area within Day Services, utilizing a person centered approach to delivery of services. This will include, but is not limited to, facilitation of community based inclusive opportunities, supervision of staff and case coordination. This position will function according to the policies established by the CCARC, Inc. Board of Directors, with the goal to maximize the potential of the individuals in the program. Minimum Requirement: A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, minimum experience required would be one year in the field of disabilities or High school diploma/GED and at least three years in the field of disabilities. Must have valid Connecticut driver’s license. Supervisory experience preferred and good computer skills.

Lifting/Transfers of individuals required as well as daily transportation responsibilities. Duties include management of dietary needs, personal care needs of individuals, as well as cleaning of program area. Minimum Requirement: High school diploma/GED and one year of related experience with individuals who are developmentally disabled. Must have valid Connecticut driver’s license.
