Our mission to “make dreams happen” and our vision to “provide personalized services for people with disabilities” is embedded in everything that we do at CCARC, Inc. This mission and vision started with a group of dedicated parents in 1952 that believed that services can be provided in the community and with hard work they made it happen by opening a small day care center.
Today, almost 60 years later, the dreams of those founding parents to have supports and services in the community were realized with a wide variety of residential and day services. As you navigate this web site you will see the range of those services but nothing is better than to see for yourself. So we welcome you to call or email to schedule a visit at CCARC.
CCARC has a volunteer Board of Directors and over 200 Corporators that are integral to the fabric of the agency. Our Board members are family members, self advocates and leaders of our community and are committed to the mission and vision of the agency. Their respective professions and experiences guide CCARC during good and difficult economic times. In 2008, the CCARC Board of Directors helped in starting the CCARC Foundation and in 2011 is embarking on our first Planned Giving Campaign to ensure the future of the agency by educating families and the community at large about opportunities of giving.
